Biking in Värmland

You can get far on two wheels. You can cycle for practical reasons. For environmental reasons. For training purpose. Or just because it’s so fun!

Go for a ride in every season: The spring in Värmland is lush and packed with scents and you can hear the birds sing. Flowers start to bloom on trees and along the roadside in the warm sun. Summer can be warm and invites for a swim in all the scenic lakes around us. Sit next to the roads and enjoy the quietness around you. The autumn is rich in colours as the trees and plants shift from green to warm shades of yellow, orange and red. The nights can get colder but gives you a lot of oxygen to seek an adventure on the countryside. Winter can come with a lot of snow and has its own challenges for the sporty bikers. You can rent the latest types of mountain bikes from Nysäters Cyklar and new for this year there are electric mountain bikes for rent.

Cycle in the beautiful surroundings of Nysäter which is a central place between the villages of Säffle, Arvika, Åmål and Grums, and situated close to Karlstad, the capital of Värmland.

Biking

During spring it is fantastic to cycle in the forest and through fields in Värmland’s Nysäter. Cycle on part of the Union Trail and visit, for example, the Viking Center, Von Echstedska Gården or perhaps to Borgvik and back. You can park at Nysäters Cyklar and start your ride. We can advise you on excursions and nice cycle routes. We have maps and you can rent the latest types of mountain bikes.

If you want to ride more easily, we have electric mountain bikes for rent. All bikes are quality bikes and are serviced after each rental.
