Gillberga valley round trip

Drive from the bike renting too Nysäter and visit the museum or the café. Continue over the bridge and road until the sign to the left, Odenstad gård. The gravel road leads you through the valley. Have a look or take a swim at the river.

The area can you reach when you turn left at a old ruin building/house. Follow the road to the river and there you find a small beach. You can see the nature reserve and Gillberga church from there.

Continue and have a look at the old style building from the Odenstad farm. Take the ferry (see picture for opening times) over the Byälven river and have a look at the mound, the Kings mound / Kungshögen (1241). From here you can follow the main road back, turn left, to the starting point, Nysäters Cyklar.
